YEah, I think you are right this is darker than my first one. I think it has alot to do with the fact that these designs are smaller than the designs in the first one. While I worked on this one I was also working on several smaller ones on the side. So, when I would go back to working on this one I would incorporate new "discoveries" I had made in the smaller ones, which is why I think that the individual designs in this line drawing remain smaller.
Something else I noticed with this one is that I had more control over the transition from one design to the next. Not that I didn't like the division of personalities in "Project 4.14" because I think that the way the design changes abruptly is a strong aspect of that drawing. But with this one I think the way they almost morph into each other is kind of interesting.
If I make another one, I will try to push the envelope and use "purposeful forms" by installing representational images and hiding them within the mess.
I don't know if it's just the lighting, but this one gives off a darker feel to me. I love it! :D
